¹ßÇ¥ÀÚ¾à·Â : Jim Zemlin today is Executive Director of The Linux Foundation. Working in this role for more than a decade he has helped multiple industries navigate the transition from technologies built with proprietary software to a world in which almost all technology infrastructure is built collaboratively with open source software.

Zemlin¡¯s work has led to industry support for the open source software through efforts like the Core Infrastructure Initiative to transformative projects like Hyperledger and Node.js. It has also resulted in more support for important Linux Foundation-led efforts to increase diversity in technology and education for and access to open source software.

Home to the world¡¯s largest open source project in history, Linux, and its creator Linus Torvalds, The Linux Foundation, directed by Zemlin, is focused on sustaining the greatest shared resources of our time and protecting them for generations to come. From securing the Internet to running the world's stock exchanges, mobile devices and data centers, open technologies together are the underpinning of the world in which we live.

Prior to becoming the head of The Linux Foundation, Zemlin worked at a variety of startups in the Silicon Valley, including Covalent and Corio. He started his career in the telecom space at Western Wireless. He has been recognized for his insights on the changing economics of the technology industry with his writing appearing in Bloomberg, Wired and other top technology journals. He is also a regular keynote speaker at industry events.
°¿¬¿ä¾à : The Linux Foundation is the organization of choice for the world's top developers and companies to build ecosystems that accelerate open technology development and commercial adoption. Together with the worldwide open source community, it is solving the hardest technology problems by creating the largest shared technology investment in history. Founded in 2000, The Linux Foundation today provides tools, training and events to scale any open source project, which together deliver an economic impact not achievable by any one company.
